The Battle Heats UP
I begin today’s newsletter with a rather long portion of Scripture from Romans chapter 1: 21-31, for the purpose of setting the stage for this week’s newsletter; and for the great need for prayer for those whose eyes have been blind to truth.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to Him,
but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
and exchanged the glory of the immortal God
for images made to look like a mortal human being,
and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts
to sexual impurity, for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie
and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator
—who is forever praised.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women
and were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men committed shameful acts with other men,
and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God,
so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.
They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful;
they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
Romans 1:-21-31 NIV
This, folks, is the world we live in – filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. But it is not the world that God desires for us.
Galatians 6:7 says this:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;
for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
While many people quote whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, they do not acknowledge the next verse…
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;
whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
I conclude this portion of Scripture reading with the beginning of verse 9.
Let us not become weary in doing good.
This is not a time to sit back and watch the world collapse into depravity. This is a time for action, and I have some very good news to report today, as well as concerns for those on the front lines.
June PRIDE
June is LGBTQI+ Pride month. US President Biden has proclaimed it as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Pride Month. “We must support LGBTQI+ activists around the globe,” he declared.[1]
The rainbow flag, representing not only homosexual, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans but also Drag Queen, BDSM, bestiality, kink, pups, MAPs (non-offending pedophiles) and every deviancy imaginable, is draped over most buildings and painted on roads. The public is vastly unaware of what the flag actually stands for.
New York is hosting not one, but eight Pride marches. Even the US Embassy to the Holy See is displaying a flag.[3]

Glamour UK used an image of a pregnant (woman), who calls ‘himself’ Logan Brown. In reality ‘he’ is a biological woman who has undergone a double mastectomy and by appearances is receiving hormone therapy. Obviously, Logan chose to retain ‘his’ uterus.
Glamour UK goes on to say,
“When we first met Logan, and heard his incredible story, we were blown away by his strength and courage. We knew he would be the perfect cover star for our June Pride issue, as a shining example of empowerment, inclusivity and equality.”[1]
Brown is in a relationship with a non-binary drag performer and became pregnant naturally, but unexpectedly.
“Everything, all my manlihood that I’ve worked hard for, for so long, just completely felt like it was erased,” Brown told Glamour UK. “It was really hard, because, how do you tell your partner, ‘Oh, I’m pregnant, but oh, I’m also your boyfriend, as well?’ It’s just something that you just don’t say, as a man.”[2]

The Pendulum Swings Too Far
It seems, though, that PRIDE month has not begun as planned for LGBTQAI++ activists in Canada. I am hearing comments such as…Why are parents speaking up now? Why the protests?
The answer is: the pendulum has swung too far, and finally, common sense is prevailing. More importantly, I believe righteousness is being released. Backlash is rising.
June 1st
On June 1st 30,000 students stayed home from class in New Brunswick in protest of the PRIDE flag-raising and PRIDE month. Some Ontario school districts followed suit, with 70% of children in the London, Ontario area remaining home.
We have much to be thankful for as the tide begins to turn.
June 9th
A Parents Rights Day of Action is being planned for this Friday, June 9th.
- Keep your kids home from school on Friday, June 9th.
- Request a delegation at a school board meeting, to present your concerns. And question the Board on their policies.
- Send a letter to your school board trustees, superintendent and (in Ontario) Education Minister, Stephen Lecce.

You are, no doubt, aware of the upcoming Parents’ Rights Day of Action (PRDOA) planned for June 9, 2023. I am not an organizer, and I won’t be involved in any potential rallies, but I am an interested parent and will be paying close attention to what transpires. I will be paying particular attention to how the media frames the events. Any parents I know who have concerns relating to gender ideology. are acting in good faith. We believe that transgender/transsexual persons deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Yet we also have legitimate concerns about various gender policies enacted by government institutions, including the [school board].
Should the board feel compelled to issue public statements regarding the PRDOA, I would urge the board to accurately describe the nature of the parents’ concerns, and to refrain from using inaccurate or prejudicial language, including words such as ‘hate’, ‘anti-trans,’ ‘far-right,’ or the neologism ‘transphobic’ (unless, in the unlikely event. that legally defined hate-speech is expressed). The use of inflammatory language to describe good-faith opponents of gender ideology is counter-productive.

If you remember back to just a year ago, the push-back was in its infancy. Now, we are witnessing citizens of all faiths, nationalities and ages standing for truth and protection of the child.
The Battle Still Rages
Maine
In the state of Maine this week, the Judiciary had a work session on LD 1735. This is the bill that I sent in my brief to refute (see attached), regarding minors (16-17 yr. olds) from outside of Maine receiving “gender-affirming health care” in Maine. This law would disregard parental authority and other state’s laws.
The Judiciary decided to carry over the bill (postpone it) until next year. This is good news, because they could have sent LD1735 to the full legislature for a vote to make it law, this week. Please pray for clear minds and truth to prevail in the end.
Florida
Florida is experiencing the ‘one-step’ back as a Florida judge this week, temporarily blocked a law banning gender-affirming care for minors, ruling there was “no rational basis” for the measure.
This comes after several doctors, including my friend Dr. Andre van Mol, testified on the very real and significant dangers of ‘affirming’ gender care.
The fear that medical facilities could lose their license if they offered health care to trans or nonbinary children is likely one of the greatest motivators, to block the bill.
Parents will need to rise up and take action. I know that my colleagues will continue to present consistent medical proof of the dangers to children and adults. Please pray for these warrior researchers and doctors.
Texas
Some exciting news from Texas. Amidst backlash, Governor Greg Abbott signed legislation barring trans-youth from accessing transition-related care.[1]
Texas joins 17 other states restricting transgender minors from accessing puberty-blockers and hormone therapies.
The battle is not over as LGBTQAI++ legal groups have vowed to sue to stop the new law from taking effect.
