Tired and Inspired!
August 21, 2020

I recently returned from Alberta feeling two things – tired and inspired!

First let me explain the ‘Inspired’! I was in Alberta to talk with leaders, to reconnect with those who have been supportive of my efforts regarding the issue of ‘conversion therapy;’ to continue to warn the ‘church’ and lastly to complete an endeavour that will be presented sometime this fall. The fact that Christians are listening is huge! I am inspired as I see the people of God become activated as they recognize truth and understand the need to stand for Biblical principals.

On Sunday, as people prayed over me there were several things spoken, some confirming what I felt God was already telling me and some very challenging as they were forward looking into where God is leading. Encouragement is so essential and to know that God is raising up prayer intercessors across this land who will stand with me is powerful!

To hear that God is setting a flame within me to bring judgment seemed terrifying – yet I remember that His purpose is to use judgment to bring repentance.

A good friend and personal intercessor then said that she believed that God had placed a battalion of angels around me! This speaks to the great peace I have found in this journey of exposing the darkness of the sexual agenda, the desire to annihilate the family and the abuse of children across our land through the education system and promotion of ideologies that are destructive to spirit, soul and body.

In the last few days, I have been reading again the book of Jeremiah – I can’t put it down. Jeremiah 20:8-9 talks about the fire that burns within. Listen to what it says:

Whenever I speak, I cry out
    proclaiming violence and destruction.
So the word of the Lord has brought me
insult and reproach all day long.
But if I say, “I will not mention his word
or speak anymore in his name,”
his word is in my heart like a fire,
a fire shut up in my bones.
I am weary of holding it in;
    indeed, I cannot.

Do I want to talk about the reality of God’s judgment on individuals’ and nations who refuse to honour Him? Not really. I feel a tiredness come upon me when I think of it. I want to be liked and respected – but in our culture those who speak out are seen as the enemy. Yet this is the very time when we need to penetrate the darkness with the Light. It is the Fire of the Word of God that brings light, burns up dross and purifies the heart.

This was the dilemma of Jeremiah! He wept for the people of his day who refused to listen but because God had called him he continued to speak God’s word to that generation.

Over the next couple of months I will be focusing on the book of Jeremiah. I believe that we must be alerted to the harsh reality – God is a God of love and mercy; but He is also a God of judgment. We must warn the people of the land (especially those in the church). God has given us the manuscript for life – we need to apply it, first to our own lives and then share it with those who are walking in darkness.

These are the reasons I am ‘tired and inspired’. I can no longer hold in what God has placed in my heart – His Word; and I am inspired as I see hearts turning to the truth of God’s word.

Possibility of Change in Homosexual Orientation A study of research supportive of sexual orientation change

There is currently extreme resistance to opening the dialogue regarding change therapy in the area of Same Sex Attraction (SSA), thought, behaviour, orientation and/or identity. Proponents of the possibility of change claim that those who experience sexual confusion and/or unwanted same-sex attraction are able to reduce or change their attractions toward the same sex.
