I write this morning from beautiful Whistler, British Columbia. I am sitting in my room looking out at the majestic mountains, while preparing to attend a church conference. Surely, creation sings the praises of our God and King.  In the midst of turbulent times, personal hardships and even moments of despair, the Good News still prevails.  Our God reigns!

Vishal Mangalwadi

I want to share some good news from the past two weeks.  It’s been a whirlwind.  I spent four days with Vishal Mangalwadi and the Truth and Transformation Canada education group at the end of April.  Although the Canadian extension is in its fledgling stages,  it was exciting to hear what is being done with education in other parts of the world.  We joined together to listen and plan next steps for creating classical education schools across Canada. Parents are pulling their children out of the public school systems and private schools are filled to capacity. This exodus from public education is bound to increase as once-standard-curriculum is increasingly replaced by an ideological attempt to normalize all kind of sexual behaviour.

The Canadian Twelve

I went immediately from Port Colbourne to Stouville, Ontario for three days of meeting with other Canadian leaders.  Our group has now been meeting together for five years.  We’ve grown stronger together and, although we each operate in separate lanes, our unified presence is bringing change in Canada.  It was a tremendously encouraging time for all of us.

The Great Canadian Awakening

From here, we immediately went to the Great Canadian Awakening in Whitby.  My friend Laura-Lynn co-hosted this well-attended event beautifully.  I was privileged to present The Sexualization of Children on Friday morning.  Saturday, I  presented a workshop on The Dangers of Affirming Gender Dysphoria in Children.  Many who attended were unaware of the dangers, and were  extremely appreciative of the presentations.  Book sales went very well, with my wonderful husband manning the table! Bill C-11

The ‘awakening’ comes on the heels of the new Bill C-11 becoming law. This bill, dubbed the ‘hate speech bill’, is basically an attempt to regulate (aka disallow) ideological dissenting voices from raising concerns. The Epoch Times newspaper shared important information on moving forward under the new regulations. Peter Menzies: With Bill C-11 Now Law, What to Watch Out for to Fight Online Censorship (theepochtimes.com) Over the next few years, we are bound to see more and more restrictions, if we refuse to speak out now.  I will continue to speak truth in the marketplace.  The lives of our most vulnerable are at stake. When it comes to LGBTQ+ activism, telling the truth is the only thing that is going make a difference in the lives of our loved ones.  I’ve spoken with many traumatized parents (and grandparents), and the theme of family alienation is recurrent.  Parents are devastated by children proclaiming to be ‘in the wrong body’ and insisting that everyone agree with them. In order to help understand this reality, I am currently writing a short book on the dangers of  ‘affirming care’, so families can have easy access to truth; in order to combat the lies of media, medical societies and public education.  It is my hope to have this book  published by July. Please consider donating to the costs of publication.  I hope to do a webinar in the near future on this subject, as well. The first five chapters of Loving Your Non-conforming Child are in the hands of my publisher and the cover is being created.  These two books are my focus when I return home next week, as I need to complete them as soon as possible. The Whatever Happened to Emily book is moving along well.  Illustrations are complete, the cover is almost done and the interior design is progressing well; with the intended publication date being mid-June.

  The State of Maine

I received an email from a friend in Maine requesting I present at a legislative public hearing regarding an “Act to Safeguard Gender-affirming Health Care.” LD 1735, HP 1114, Text and Status, 131st Legislature, First Special Session (mainelegislature.org) This bill resembles California’s ‘sanctuary bill’ for children not being offered “gender-affirming” care in other states. As I discuss in my ‘Dangerous Affirmations’ presentations, such ‘health care’ is destroying children’s future and family cohesion.  It puts children at the helm of medical decision-making, rather than creating a bio-socio-psychological perspective on treating the child holistically, and recognizing the extensive pre-existing mental health disorders they are struggling with. Although I am unable to attend Maine’s public hearing on Bill 1735, I have written a short brief, and hope to be called for professional input later in this process.

As you can tell, life is very busy.  I am still seeking an assistant, and pray for a like-minded individual with excellent administrative skills to connect with me.  There is tremendous work to be done, and a great need for us to work together to accomplish the task set before us.
